Project Leaders, Project / Program Managers and Resource Managers who are responsible for the planning and control of resources, projects / programs made up of multiple large, medium and small projects. • Project Management Office—How to utilize the PMO to successfully implement project management as a culture, methodology and a communication platform for all your organization's projects information.
• Multiple Project Planning Requirement--How to develop the criteria for a Portfolio of Projects management system. This system will be utilized to conduct activity time, resource and cost analysis and issue escalation reporting.
• Top Down Program Planning--How to develop a rapid higher level project plan with scope and resource estimates and compare and integrate it with the detail plan as developed by the project team.
• Multiple Project Resource Planning-- How to develop a project plan with resource requirements by skill type and then assign real resources based on the use of a simulated real time corporate resource planning (availability) tool.
• Multiple Projects Activity Dependency Interface--- How to identify, develop and integrate multiple projects and then analyze the impact on project milestones, delivery dates and resource requirement forecasting.
• Project Conflict and Change Management-- Using a case study you will learn how to use your project database to respond to shifting resource priorities, project scope creep and crisis management. You will learn how to analyze the situation and formulate and report your decisions backed up by your project data.
• Project Management Performance Measurement--Learn and apply the concepts of Earned Value techniques. You will learn how to set up your project management procedures to estimate resource effort requirements and capture actual and forecast performance information to conduct Earned Value Analysis and reporting.
